Good Afternoon my sweet friends and family. I hope your second month of this year is off to a great start. I noticed a different pattern of the new year posts shared this year. A lot of them wished peace, happiness, and health. It's almost like everyone was manifesting less materialistic and more intellectual or spiritual things. I think this is a great idea and the extended stay of covid could have been the cause of this. Have you ever noticed how people with a positive mindset seem to do better in life?
It's almost like they have better luck, and things somehow always work out for them. Well, the truth is that they don't have any magic seeds. It's all about what runs through their head.
Today's discussion will briefly discuss the importance of optimism and the value of a growth mindset, so get ready to be enlightened in a few seconds. I promise I will keep it short and sweet 💞
Get Out Of Your Head
Let me let you in on a secret; life goes by fast. If you don't take a moment to breathe, you miss out on the best parts of life. So many people of my age are caught up in their heads. They are so worried about their next bills that they spend most of their time overthinking. Take a mindful moment to shift your focus back to reality and only worry about your next meal. Anytime you feel anxious, zoom out and look at a bigger picture. Life is not about the destination but the journey. Laugh at life complications and try to live like you have your reality tv show. Trust me; it's so much fun watching these plot twists come out of nowhere every week 😅
The Power Of Optimism
I'm somewhat a 70/30 kind of believer on this topic. While I like to be optimistic, I don't want to be overly optimistic about my situations. I have talked to multiple people about this, and they have tried to convince me that I should be a hundred percent believer, but I haven't come to terms with it.
But let's talk about that 70 percent. When you manifest only good things, it positively affects your mental health. You start seeing hope in your future, and you gain inner motivation. Just hearing phrases like "You will figure it out" and "I believe in you" are magical. They convince you that whatever your current situation is, it's temporary, and there are better days ahead of you. That's why words of affirmation are a type of love language, so keep affirming your friends and family.
In The End
The point of this article was to convey the message: stop worrying about minor issues in life. There is more to life than bills and stress all the time. Try to have a solution-oriented approach in life, and you will find yourself in a way better position. This article got a bit lengthy, and I promised to keep it short, so I'll talk about the power of growth mindset another day.
Till then, peace out ✌🏼
