Summer is almost over, what's next?

Hello family! How are y'all doing? No, I mean it. When was the last time someone genuinely asked you how you were doing, or you even asked that to yourself?

Well, I want to hope you are doing somewhat alright; otherwise, you can reach out to me via Instagram. I am always looking for genuine friends :)

As the title says, summer is almost over, so what are we doing for the rest of the year. It might be a little challenging to answer for the whole year but let's plan and discuss it together to get an idea.

Ok, I'll go first. Well, I just finished my internship, and I have roughly two weeks before I start school again. Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that it's my last semester 😍

I am so excited to be done with school and start paying my debt off🤡 *says nobody ever*.

But I am excited to finish school this year and work on my professional life. While the school has been a great source to meet amazing people and learn a lot, it has somewhat limited me. I don't know about you guys, but I start my school in person next semester, leading to some real-life complications for me after a year and a half of being in a virtual situation. Big shoutout to my school for not offering any online classes for my major🥳

Recruitment season is upon us, and for some of us * I and everyone who's graduating in the fall* need to study and prep for interviews to secure a job. To add to the stress of it, I need a source of income to pay my bills. I thought about driving for Uber, but there is a rumor that a serial killer is on the loose in my area. Lol, all the stars are aligned for me at the moment. Being unemployed and having no school leaves me with a lot of time in my hands, and I am allergic to free time. I am officially at an age where doing nothing gives me anxiety. Lowkey, the idea of being free is stressing me out, so I decided to learn a skill or two online before school starts.

The idea of passive income attracts me, so I have been researching that. See, I am one of those people who complain about working for someone or on a schedule. I realized that I would need to do something about it for me to stop complaining. Growing up, I thought there were some skills we just inherit, and I am happy to announce that is so incorrect. The only thing you inherit is your parents' genetics and some wealth if they are wealthy. No worries though, I love building things from scratch.

Only because summer is ending doesn't mean fun in your life has to end. Remember from my last blog, every day alive is a present; enjoy it to the fullest. On the contrary, the end of summer quite literally means fun is ending for me because fall, winter is approaching, and those seasons are just not my thing. I like to hibernate in winter and not go out at all. On the other hand, some people love this weather so remember to make memories.

Lastly, some advice from me, HUSTLE.

Never stop hustling.

Don't let anyone bring you down.

Remember, you are your only limit.

Go work for the life you dream of at night. I tend to go into depression after summer, but this year, I will try my best to stay out of it and focus on the positives. I encourage you to do the same and push yourself to fight your fears. Cheers mate!
