Whether you are here because you can't find anyone to travel with or just want to explore the idea of solo travel, good news is that you are not alone. I have been in the exact same boat since forever where I can't find people to travel with but no worries. Group travel is another way to meet new people and find like minded friends who want to travel the world together. You maybe hesitant at first to travel with a group of strangers but read that again. A group of strangers who have no idea about you which means you can leave all your insecurities behind you and just be you during the trip. I have traveled to multiple countries with a group of strangers and let me tell you, it has been a great experience. You always find your type of people and have the ability to customize your itinerary at any point.
What is EF Ultimate Break?
EF Ultimate is a travel group. They arrange all inclusive trips for people under the age of 35. Their groups are not super big and they have a host for each group. It's perfect for people like me who are not a big fan of planning or don't have the time to plan a trip. The trips can be a bit costly but a peace of mind makes it worth it. Their packages include an option to add a flight, hotels, food for some days, transfers from airport (if flights booked with them), and group tours. You can find various itineraries on their website here: https://www.efultimatebreak.com/
How was My Travel Experience?
I'm going to be honest, I was a bit scared to take an international trip to a country where I don't speak the language. I wasn't able to find a friend who could travel with me at that time so I started looking into group travels. That's when I found EF Ultimate Break.
My experience with EF Ultimate Break was amazing. My first trip with EF Ultimate Break was to London, Paris, and Barcelona. It was roughly a ten day itinerary. Our host was really nice and great communicator. He even sorted out our public transportation tickets which was amazing. He told us more about the history, traditions, recommendations, and favorite foods.
Pros:
I met some amazing people
I could shut my brain off as I was following a group of people.
Our host made sure all our questions were answered and that we felt safe.
Free time to do our own thing
Cons:
If you don't upgrade your rooming experience, then you can be roomed with up to five people in a hostel room (common in hostels).
Trips costs a little more than what it would cost you to go with a friend.
If you don't like pre-made itineraries, then group travel is not for you.
In Conclusion
If you're hesitant to take your first solo international trip, I would totally recommend that you book a trip with EF Ultimate Break and get yourself familiar. You can also find a discount code online and get up to $300 off your trip.
So, what are you waiting for? That trip to Barcelona is not going to book itself :P
Until next time, Peace
