It's that time of the year when neighborhoods have competitions, candies are on sale, and Spirit Halloween is making big bucks. I have never been big on Halloween itself, but one thing I do love is scary things. I am a big fan of horror movies and scary stuff. Maybe it's the thrill or the challenge of getting scared by things in life, whatever you want to call it, but I dig it. I'm too old to go door to door asking for candies knowing I'm an eye candy myself🤪, but I also don't eat sweets like that. So this blog post is for people looking to make their October spooky but aren't exactly sure what they want to do, so stay tuned. (read till the end for a surprise)
Six Ideas for Halloween This Year
Horror Movies Marathon
Rent a projector or crash at your friend with the biggest TV and have a horror movie night. Set up some snacks and watch either the Halloween series or paranormal activity. If this is not good enough, go to your nearest theatre and watch whichever horror movie they are playing right now. You can't beat this.
Go to a Haunted House
Ooooh, another one of my favorite things is to go to a haunted house. This can be one of those fake setups or a real haunted house tour. Usually, those fake haunted houses have many more activities than just the "scaries," but if you find that boring, look up some real haunted houses and book your tour now! Comment on this post if you make it back alive.
Have a Halloween Decoration Party
Need a Halloween gathering idea? Invite your friends/family and decorate your place with some spooky things. Carve some pumpkins and have a little competition with your friends. Set up a small snack table with all the Halloween-based snacks, post pictures, and record spooky tiktoks. You can also add one of the Halloween-based Mazes to that same night's agenda.
Go to Disney
Got a little extra time and money on your hands? Look no further and make a quick weekend getaway to Disney. This could be either DisneyWorld or Disneyland. Both usually have exciting Halloween-based activities going on. You'll get spooked and have a great time.
Drive to Savannah Georgia
I went to Savannah this past Summer, and every time I googled about that town, something started with the word "haunted". Yep. That city is known for the best-haunted tours and has a long history of ghosts and paranormal activities. If Savannah is too far, you can find another haunted town near you and explore it.
Throw a Halloween Costume Party
Lastly, throwing a Halloween Costume party is always fun. People become their favorite characters for a day and get to live this whole other life. Play some haunted games (not the ouija board please), take pictures, and have a good time with your friends.

Until next time, Peace👻
