Four Strategies To Reduce Stress

Hello friends! I am back with more techniques to help you live a better life. I feel like this year will be a little rough, so I might find myself coming back to this blog more often. After all, the whole point behind this blog is to help you level up and potentially build a private million-dollar club with amazing people.

Today, I will talk about four ways to reduce stress. I will keep it short and straight to the point. Just remember, stress is mostly us overthinking about a situation. If you can't take immediate action, try to take the solution-oriented approach and take a deep breath.

1. Time-Block Your Schedule

This is a very effective technique. When you devote a particular part of your day to a task, you'll find the automatic motivation to get it done. Think of time-blocking as an effective tool that helps you stay focused on progressing and not on completing your task. This way, if something comes up, it won't discourage you; instead, you can come back to it later and finish it up. Flexibility is the way to go.

2. DECLUTTER DECLUTTER DECLUTTER

Should I add another declutter? LOL. This is a proven technique. Decluttering has the same effect as coming home to a bed that's made, a clean kitchen, and fresh laundry. If you're finding it hard to find focus or attention span, try cleaning. Whenever I feel anxious, I try cleaning and decluttering my space, and OMG, it works like a charm. I feel accomplished for getting something done, and a clean room makes me want to continue completing more tasks during my day.

3. Make Sleep Non-Negotiable

This is not a suggestion. It's more like an order. Don't try to accommodate sleep but make it happen. I once met this super successful man who never slept like a normal person. He would take naps throughout the day but never get a whole night's sleep. When I asked why he does this, he said that sleep was for the lazy, and I have businesses to manage.

UM, I immediately had to correct this man and tell him that sleep is NOT for the lazy but for the smart.

Ladies and Gents, if you ever meet someone who says sleep is for the lazy, it's a major red flag, so drop them and run away. This person clearly doesn't understand how the brain works and will have a severe problem soon.

4. Go For A Walk

Listen, I know it's cold as hell, but it helps. Layer up and get some fresh and cold air, lol. A good walk gets your blood pumping and increases the amount of oxygen in your brain. You can listen to your favorite album or talk to a friend during this time. I have this thing called "idea walk". I take those walks when I need more creativity and ideas. I talk to myself during this walk and take a lot of notes about my surroundings. To be honest, I love it. I always come back happy.

See ya next time✌🏼

peace,
